Serpentine is named for its mottled and scaly appearance like a snake, this a grounding stone valued for its ability to provide clarity of thought and connection to one's highest self.
Metaphysically, Serpentine clears blockages and stagnation in the chakras, especially the crown and heart chakra, so it is used on the entire body with a focus on the face, neck, and chest. Through opening the chakras, Serpentine is an excellent stone for emotional balance, meditation, and the retrieval of untapped wisdoms.
